Capstone Project about Black Lives Matter in Monmouth!

I wanted to share this capstone project with you. Ryan Ross, a journalism student, was visiting friends in Monmouth this summer and drove by our Black Lives Matter protest. Ryan reached out to Carol and I about what was happening in our community and decided to make the City of Monmouth and Black Lives her college capstone project.

Ryan has captured stories from our Black residents, issues and the hope our city would like to share. Please read and share with anyone. Let us continue to learn about everyone who lives in our community and have meaningful conversations about how we can help, communicate and earn the trust of our community of color.

Take care,
